Some years ago, while enduring a challenging season of life, I was introduced to the Japanese art technique of kintsugi. In this process, the artist takes a broken piece of pottery, repairing it with gold, thus making the breaks and fractures more beautiful and stronger, but not hidden.
Similarly, when we go through difficult times in life, we may experience fissures and cracks that feel insurmountable to overcome. However, through discovering our own strength, guided by those who support us, the pieces are put back together, revealing a more resilient and stunning whole than what existed before.
It is my life’s work and true joy to walk with you on that journey, being one part of the support system that can guide you through the dark and strenuous path to healing and wholeness.
